Your manual numbers are strictly your business.
Our Privacy Commitment
We store manual ledger entries scoped directly to your authenticated Supabase ID. We never query, store, or log bank-account sync credentials of any kind.
Funny Money operates under an explicit privacy mandate: you are in complete control of your manual financial worksheets.
1. No Third-Party Bank Syncs
We have integrated no active bank scraping aggregators. Your login session is processed securely using Supabase Auth, and manual ledger records are stored securely in a dedicated Postgres database instance protected by strict Row Level Security (RLS). We never sell, lease, or share your manual records with external corporate institutions or advertisers.
2. What We Collect
We only collect:
- Your account email address and preferred name at signup, to create and secure your session.
- The figures you manually enter: income history, intention statement, budget categories, spending ledger logs, subscriptions, savings goals, and safety-net amounts.
- Your Lemon Squeezy purchase status (customer and order IDs only) to confirm lifetime access. We never see or store your card details.
3. Storage Autonomy
Your data belongs strictly to you. You can permanently close your account or wipe your manual records ledger at any time using the Delete Account option inside your dashboard. We utilize server-side JWT encryption to ensure all transmission channels between your browser and our Postgres instance are fully secured.
4. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
You have the right to access, correct, export, or permanently delete your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, use the Delete Account feature in your dashboard or contact us directly at hello@funnymoney.dev. We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.
5. Third Parties We Work With
We do not sell or share your data with advertisers. We rely on a small set of trusted service providers (sub-processors) to run the app, each handling only the data their job requires:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and secure storage of your account and entries.
- Vercel — application hosting and request logs.
- Lemon Squeezy — payment processing for the one-time purchase (they handle card details; we never receive them).
- Resend — sending account emails such as confirmation and password-reset links.
- Upstash — rate-limiting to protect the app from abuse (keyed by your account ID).
- Sentry — error monitoring to help us fix bugs; configured to avoid collecting personal data.
